Our childhood memories with mangoes (Alphonso).Our parents buying the crate of mangoes ,4dozens arranged according to how ripe it is,ripest lot at the top.Aam ki peti is how we remember it.No fun in cutting and eating.It has to be eaten squashing with the hand messing up the clothes ,sticky feeling around mouth,eating it till you can see the seed white in colour 😊.How many times the mango strings get stuck between your teeth.Summer vacations and mango season always coincide in India.Competitions with friends and cousins,how fast can you eat?how many can you eat? Puri aamrus best combination…Nobody can escape from the scent of the juicy Alphonso’s.Typically the crates used to be kept under the cot in our small Mumbai homes.We were like flies waiting to attack.Some neighbor would have connections to get mangoes from Ratnagiri and the message spreads like forest fire ,you try to be the first to reach to get the best picks😊.Todays kids are cleanliness freaks to enjoy the way we used to.They can pass an embarrassing statement how can you eat it like this,well that’s how it is eaten😊.

Reliving childhood with Mangoes 😁

It’s a beautiful garment, very colorful,bright,eye catching. It has many layers of cloth to be stitched together to keep the beauty intact. I start stitching and when I reach the midway the thread breaks and I have to tie a knot to continue. The knot is visible. Most people choose to see the knot first then the garment. All of a sudden the value of the garment drops and the beauty holds no value like before. The tiny knot gets all the attention and becomes popular. I am left with only one choice – open it completely and redo it.But there is still no guarantee,in the process I may damage the whole stuff. I choose to leave the knot there. People who choose to see the knot can move away disliking it.I am sure I will still be left with bunch who will admire the real beauty and not judge a knot.

There will always be these two sets of people in our life. We can’t keep changing our self to suit others else in this bargain I will lose myself.

Yesterday is over and you wont get it back.
Tomorrow is yet to come and you are not sure if you would get there.
This leaves you only with Today.
Live it to the fullest, don’t hold back yourself -just say it, just do it.
Every tomorrow will get worth waiting for and yesterday becomes a memory!

Favoritism is a two-edged sword – in life we find a way to develop some satisfying, favorite relationships. But we also have been hurt at one time or another by …being somebody’s “not favorite.” We have also probably hurt others by not making them a favorite. Giving credit, even when it is not deserved harms less compared to giving blame, even when it is not deserved.
It cant be removed from our life, but being aware of its good and bad aspects helps us to deal with it in a healthy way. 
To be fair you don’t need to give the same treatment to everybody , all you need to do is give them what they need.
Favoritism is bug that exists in our society – be it school, within family, workplace etc.
