COMPASSION!

An unprecedented time in our history. It has dramatically changed our day to day life.

Unfortunately many of us are away from our home countries for work and haven’t met their parents,children,siblings and childhood friends in a long time.

Some have experienced illness and lost loved ones.People both here and there are living under the fear of uncertainties.There is isolation,fear,anxiety,mood swings about now and the future.

It makes it important for all of us to shift our focus towards mental health.Oneness,kindness,compassion,empathy and humanity is what it calls for.

Feeling low is a frequent syndrome in our current scenario and at such times we crave to be with our parents\siblings\children.You may have looked around for them.You many have silently found them in someone.

One may have seen a sibling,child or parent in you.Be compassionate to them.Your little time and patience may help them battle their fears and loneliness.Your hug\shoulder may give them the necessary positivity to pull this off.

Try not to judge someone just because you are unable to relate to the situation they are in.Be kind and help them to lighten up and heal.Also it’s very important to appreciate your self and value your strengths.Practice self compassion – like the saying goes “You can’t pour from an empty cup”.

Let us build a compassionate society around us.Many of us are regularly doing charity to help the needy. Similarly spare some time for people who are suffering from mental health issues.

You could save lives with your words of comfort and warmth.This pandemic has taught us the importance of mental wellbeing.This is not an ideal situation for anyone.Lets come together and make it easy to deal with such days.It will only leave you with more positivity.

Nothing lasts forever! This phase will pass by too.
